In chapter one sutra 12 of Patanjali yoga sutras states:abhyasa-vairagyabhyam-tannirodha.
I am not a decoder of any sutras but how much I have understood from this sutra and how it has helped me to get the desired results from my practice.so if you are not getting the outcome from your practice read ahead it might help you find the key to your locked results.
Here abhyasa means constant practice this is the most important aspect of any practice we do.what I have observed is when we start any practice we are completely into it,we give our everything but as the time passes our interest and grip from the practice loosens up.we become more focused on the outcome then the practice and here we loose track and then it just becomes a drag and an automode practice like Swamiji says: any practice that becomes automated growth stops.
Vairagya: what I understand here from vairagya is detachment from the outcome of the results because if we shift our energies to outcome of the practice then the energy required for the practice won’t be enough to give us the outcome and also to let go of everything that is hindrance to our constant practice.
अभ्यासा और वैराग्य।
Constant practice and detachment is the key to your practice. If your practice has both of these results are bound to follow, but if you are not getting the desired outcome from your practice look for these two for sure one of them or maybe sometimes both will be missing…keep practicing and keep shining Love and light❣️ shambhoo 🕉️
