2022 and Gratitude

Ending the year with an emotion of gratitude and thankfulness, here is the list of what all I am thankful for that the Nature presented me with-

1.       Sri Hari– Of course! He is my savior, undoubtedly. Despite being away from the ashram, some wonderful devotees give us the darshan of the Lord every day on the telegram group of devotees (Om Swami Ji) and I am deeply thankful to them!

2.       Swami ji– Yes! The one who lives and breathes in bliss, the one who blossomed the faith in us that we too can reach our potential- both material as well as spiritual, it is him! My sincere obeisance to Swamiji.

3.       Sri Devi Om ji– Her writings give me the clarity that I need. A being full of love and forgiveness, I offer my pranaam to her.

4.       Neelanjan Dada and Abhishek– When Nature conspires, nothing stops people who are destined to meet! These two awesome men eventually became my brothers and I am thankful to Sri Hari for making it happen.

5.       As a person who has deeply struggled with confidence, I used to think that there was one corner on the net which was absolutely kind, compassionate and non- judgmental. Anyway, I thank mother Nature for shattering my illusion. There were days where I was questioning myself and others around me, but after a dark night, comes a lovely morning. I have learned that seeking validation is absolutely unnecessary, more so, if one is on a spiritual path. Hundred people will say a hundred different things, so, put your palm on your heart, listen to the Divine in you and remember what Swami had said- Discover your own truth, walk your own path. That alone will set you free.

6.       Since the elders of the society are themselves messed up with their own traumas, conditioning, forceful sacrifices and lack of knowledge, it is best to look inwards. Remember, everyone has a history, each has a dukhda. Your heart knows what even you don’t know! Thank you, my Jaganmata, for finally making me listen to my heart, and yes, I have been at peace since then!

7.       I had the chance to observe some people of position lately where I noticed that their confidence to make blunders is so great that often they pose themselves as the sole harbingers of truthfulness. It is my way or high way system for them. Thankful to the Divine that many are there who don’t fall into such trap.

8.       Thanks to os.me for rolling out new features. A special mention to all the secret readers and secret santas who don’t show their presence openly much but are lovely beings in their own ways!
