A Home Visit to a Holy Man by Sanjay Bose

My story starts with a trip to Ranaghat. Few years ago, i was in a deep thirst for spirituality which lead to me in search for all yogis currently present in india. I came understand that science is still in a nascent stage and it has no explanation for majority of thing. This bring importance to faith. Person with giant faith can do giant work. But problem comes to know whether the person has blind faith or true faith. People have seen the result of blind , it can completely create havoc on planet. All the invention and discoveries we see today is the result of true faith i.e true faith on themselves. The world has produce great people like scientist, doctors,CEO, saints, leader etc because they have complete faith on themselves.

Few month back , i got a call from a person whom i contact on quora few years ago. He insist me to meet his Guru whom he considered to self-realized man. As i was busy somewhere else so i could not meet him personally . But i got time and i planned to visit him. They belong to certain lineage. Person whom i was in contact his Guru name was Guru Shanti and name of Guru of Guru shanti is Guru Madanmohan. Guru Madanmohan was a disciple of Swami Prabhananda Maharaj, founder of Bharat Sevashram. Bharat Sevashram is spiritual organisation just like Iskcon and Ramakrisna Mission.

I was received as guest there. I was served very well. As i went there without breakfast, so they kept on asking for food and i kept on denying. Finally they serve me with lunch. After lunch, i visited the temple and took some picture. Here, i am sharing some of them.

This is Guru madanmohan who was also disciple of Swami Prabhananda Maharaj, founder of Bharat Sevashram according to information i received from them.

I really had a wonderful day with them. They treated me like son . They were realised people or not that i don’t know but the way they treated me was beyond expression. Really enjoyed their company.

At the last thing i want to say that we used to treat guest as God in earlier times, now this is diminishing nowadays. I don’t know the reason whatever it may be if one is not comfortable with solitude, he or she will be get into the feeling of loneliness which can lead to trouble.
