It so feels as if one day

on the golden throne

the dark idol that holds your form

will swing and sway

its lithesome limbs

and the Devi will step

right into my world

Oh Mother

I’ve never trusted you

as I trust you now

there are no words exchanged

or promises made

only a silent helpless gaze

mirrored by a loving knowing one

In your quiet reassurances

is a peace unlike any other

the earth can slide from its axis

the Sun can burn

days turn into long endless nights

disease can swallow the world

but you’ll be there as you always have been

I’m sacred

I can’t see ahead

it seems hazier than usual

so much of life has passed in a blur

now you are here

it should all be clear

make it so, Mother, make it so

O Mother of kindness

you are full of surprises

shower your grace

your at once loving gaze

my heart is singing

all will be clear

all will be seen

On this beautiful night of the full moon, my countless obeisance in the delicate lotus feet of the Mother Goddess, who protects us from all that’s inauspicious. The sacred Mother heals and nurtures Her children unfailingly. 🙇‍♀️ 🙇‍♀️ 🙇‍♀️ 🙇‍♀️ 🙇‍♀️ 🙇‍♀️ 🙇‍♀️
