BLACK LOTUS DEVALAYA

Its a new normal.

As everything else is now virtual, so is my “pooja-paath”. 

Yes, here in Northern side of our country a wide term is very popular – “Pooja-paath”. It includes every aspect related to God and His  rememberance.

So, my pooja paath is also virtual now. BLACK LOTUS being the temple where I go daily, bow my head, walk through, and come out a happy and peaceful devotee.

 I have never been to any major/famous temple, be it the very famous called chaar-dhaam, like Badrinath, Amarnath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Jagannath Puri, Dwarka, Rameshwaram, as also Kashi-pryagraj, Gaya ji, Kaamakhya temple, Tirupati Balaji, Triyambkeshwar, or any of the grand temples in South India. None.  (Maa Vaishno Devi being most compassionate,  being the Srimata, Srimaharagyani, ……  Maa called me few times to her abode🙇🏼‍♀️)

But I often see on You Tube the grand procedures of pooja, abhishekam, loud chanting of mantras, and all related activities.

The narrations of os. me writers about their trips to kailash dham, to Jagannath puri and some of South India temples also are so overwhelming. It deports me straight to a very different plane.

It seems that I have developed a new taste bud. A new eye vision . A special sense. Its about extracting the same pleasure virtually that one feels and gets when physically present in a pure devalaya.

My Black Lotus devalaya brings me all the delicious tastes, soothing fragrances, grand and beautiful sights, and A LOT OF JOY.

On click opening the door of my Black Lotus Devalaya the first sentence of wisdom that I get, is the aashirwad one gets while bowing down to the deity.

The voice of Swamiji that walks me through the meditation sessions is like the chants of shlokas and mantras that are heard in all major devalayas in India.

The chanting sessions are like melodious, sweet voices of some akhand jaap going on.

The words of wisdom provided as a post in Reinforce Section in the App are like those grand “Srimad Bhagwad Puran Saptaah” organised in temples. The reading of RAK stories is that  sharing of experiences among fellow devotees.

The Evaluation Section gives me a chance to see myself closely, honestly. And the final screen  showing the mirror as to how many people I impacted today, is the prasadam given to the visitors. 

Earlier I had a deep desire to have darshan of all the major places of worship and sadhna. Chaar dham yatra, kailash dhaam yatra, visit to Tirupati Balaji and many more. No more yearning for a physical visit to such grand places of pilgrimage. A calmness (ठहराव) is developing. If the pilgrimage happens its good, if doesn’t happen its good.😊

Swamiji has given us exclusive, VIP passes of one to one sessions with him. Anywhere, anytime, any number of times. His hand holding is strong enough. No chance of getting lost in the crowd. Do I need anything more, I wonder?
