“Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.”
― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
We all have problems in our lives, and we all have solutions, but the biggest problem is that we think about the problem instead of a solution. A few days back, I was reading a book called the power of the subconscious mind, and I came across such powerful words: “You change your mind, you will change your destiny.”
Mind is a big trap. Like I believe that I cannot survive without proper sleep and food. So whenever I feel a little hungry, I freeze. Whenever I don’t get adequate sleep, I cannot work. A few months ago, Somebody asked me, how many hours do you sleep? I said around 8 to 9 hours, and that person said why? We don’t need that much sleep. We need only the rest of 5 to 6 hours. For a moment, I thought that person could be right, so I tried for a few days, but honestly speaking, I felt sick. My mind and body do not process that. Everyone is different, and everyone has different patterns. I do whatever makes me happy and comfortable. If we are not satisfied with ourselves, how can we expect anything from others?
Whenever we feel tired, we need to ask ourselves why we feel that way right now? Answers are inside us. Earlier I used to go out for suggestions, but now I am learning how much important to be independent. Financially, emotionally and physically.
Affirmations can help in the process. What are affirmations? Some positive or negative thoughts we send to our minds. Affirmations can be positive and negative. For example, I can do this (Positive), and I cannot do this (Negative). It’s our choice how we want to live our life, positively or negatively. It changes things very quickly.
For example, we don’t want to study because we have a fear of failure, but at the same time, we tell ourselves, why would we fail if we learn? We will pass, but we will also get good marks. So, the whole vibe has changed, and we will be able to focus on our studies happily.
We can change our energy, mindset, life, and destiny with small steps and courage. Courage to accept the change is the hardest thing, but slowly we can do it. Just remember, we don’t need to change everything forcefully. Change whatever you can, and rest adjust your goals around the things you cannot change. We all are different.
Let’s, share your thoughts in the comment box. Do you also believe in affirmations and change?
Keep smiling,
Thank you,
