Two years back, the inevitable happened. The rat race came to an end. No running around for everything or anything. Every tabloid was ablaze with COVID 19. People started taking care of their health more than anything, boosting their immune system, so that they could face the imminent onslaught with prior preparation.

It made me realise the importance of preparing for the future. One should indeed dwell in the present for the good health of our minds, but neglecting aspects of the future will jeopardise our sanity then; the future will not be taking care of itself.

We are going back to pre-covid days. We have forgotten the lessons drawn from this episode. Remember, urgencies have no end. One has just cropped and another will crop up tomorrow gouging into your finances. For us middle-income families, every cent matters. Put aside something for the worst, because you can never predict the future. Shun the egoistic you who is saying, when it will come, we will see. Do not be that person, never be that person.

I pray for everyone and our natural biodiversity to be hale and hearty.
