Dawn: The Advent of Divine Light

As we march the spiritual path, there come a time in a seeker’s life when he finds glimpses of purity, truth, and supreme support within. The seeker experientially realizes that he does not have to go out and seek the divine, he does not have to acquire goodness from outside, he sees within oneself the glimpses of purity and divinity he has always been adoring and worshipping. 

The seeker witnesses his own ego as a mere idea within his own vast existence and realizes one has always been making all his decisions and taking all the actions based on this limited idea, he witnesses his ability to act beyond this limited idea. Reluctantly he takes his first step, beyond logic and intellectual understanding towards his true identity and acts contrary to the needs of his limited self, and experiences a sense of freedom. Love, compassion, and Truth find their way naturally in the heart of such a seeker. One experiences the advent of Dawn of Divine light. From this heart, a eulogy comes forth in complete adoration for the true teacher who has come to guide:

Divya hi ab Divya ko bas Divya hai Yun banaa rahaa,

The divine teacher is connecting to the divine within to make one divine;

Tu kahaan tera sadguru Teri naav hai Yun chalaa rahaa,

The true teacher alone is rowing the boat now ;

Karunaanidhi ke prataap se,

It’s the glory of all-compassionate alone,

Ab Gyaan hridaya samaa rahaa,

That has taken the form of wisdom in the inner recess of heart;

Janmon se adhiyaaren mein thi,

It was dark inside the chambers,

Tu prakaash ban ab aa rahaa,

O’ Lord! now you reside in the form of light of awareness;

He is knocking on everyone’s door assuming the form of truth and compassion;

Kitnee hi hain santaan sabko paas apne bulaa rahaa,

All are his children and he is calling them all;

Divya hi ab Divya ko bas Divya hai Yun banaa rahaa,

The divine teacher is connecting to the divine within to make one divine;

Tu kahaan tera sadguru Teri naav hai Yun chalaa rahaa,

The true teacher alone is rowing the boat now ;

Kitne hai dikhte paap ho, Sab vastra hi pehne hue,

I  still see a thousand impurities, but I know now these are all like clothes I am wearing,

Woh hai shucih, tujhko bhi ab nirmal woh pat pehnaa rahaa,

Lose not hope, The supreme Lord is pristine purity and he fills you with goodness too;

Divya hi ab Divya ko bas Divya hai Yun banaa rahaa,

The divine teacher is connecting to the divine within to make one divine;

Tu kahaan tera sadguru Teri naav hai Yun chalaa rahaa,

The true teacher alone is rowing the boat now ;

Woh ek hai, Woh Aneesh, uske sahastra Yun haath hai,

He alone is, He is the closest of all, he has thousand hands to help;

Sabse anootha neh Bandhan woh bhaandhe jaa rahaa;

And he forge a unique bond with everyone to hold a communion;
