My Guru’s Blessings!

A devotee shares his experience below.

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु गुरुदेवो महेश्वरा:।
गुरुरेव परमब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः॥
अखंड मंडलाकारं व्याप्तं येन चराचरम।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः॥
अज्ञानतिमिरांधस्य ज्ञानांजनशलाकया।
चक्षुरुन्मिलितं येन तस्मै श्री गुरुवे
स्थावरं जंगमं व्याप्तं येन कृतस्नं चराचरम।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः।।
परिव्याप्तं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः।।
न गुरोरधिकं तत्त्वं न गुरोरधिकं तपः।
तत्वज्ञानात परं नास्ति तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नम:॥

मन्नाथ: श्रीजगन्नाथो मद्गुरू श्रीजगद्गुरू।
मदात्मा सर्वभुतात्मा तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नम:॥
गुरुरादिरनादिच्श गुरू: परमदैवतम।
गुरो: परतरं नास्ति तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नम:॥

ब्रह्मानन्दं परमसुखदं केवलं ज्ञानमुर्तिम।
द्वंद्वातितम गगनसदृशं तत्त्वमस्यादी लक्ष्यं।।
एकं नित्यं विमलमचलं सर्व्वधीसाक्षिभूतं।
भावातितं त्रिगुणरहितं सद्गुरुँ त्वाँ नमामि।।

It was 19th February when I got a positive nod from Gurudev to visit His ashram. So on 22nd February, my heart filled with bliss unspeakable, I started for the Ashram for it is not possible to be there without consent of Gurudev, the call of the Divine.

It was his power and blessings that I decided to go to my real adobe barefoot. I admit here that even in my home I wear sleepers all the time as my feet are sensitive therefore even a particle of sand or an uneven surface pains great deal. But when you are controlled by the Supreme Being you can do all sorts of things which are otherwise impossible.

The real story of His divine grace on my travel starts on my journey from Maryog to Kotla Barog. I decided to go to ashram from Kotla Barog on foot. Some how I got misplaced and mislead and started walking all the way back to Solan. But Sant ji (local devotee of revered Gurudev) some how caught up with me and took me to ashram safely.

When I first faced revered Gurdev (My Prabhu) his first words were “So finally you have made it Jayant!”

I was completely speechless and dumb to answer His words.
   
My interaction with Gurudev was very friendly and though most part of the converstaions are private I have to share that I got the most precious gift of my life from Him.

Gurudev gave me my new name. My name suffixed with his name so I am now JAYANT OM.
