Lighting the Diwali lamps,

A  gentle reminder of light piercing the darkness.

A subtle action that brings hope and joy.

A small Diya is better than no Diya at all

It spreads

One lamp at a time

Becomes the festival of lights.

For me, Diwali is all about the gentleness and soft glow,

A tiny glow from the tail of the glow worm is enough to light up a dark night.

 Let us light  the Diyas

A trail of happy fairy lights

Paper lanterns

Earthen Diyas

Delightful tea lights

Diwali is all about the softness of lights.

Diya is purity

We want clean spaces

We clean up the cobwebs from all the dark corners of our homes.

Homes are synonyms for our body and mind

When we clean the external world, the inner world lights up too.

Diwali ka ‘saaf safai ‘ is a gesture of cleaning our own negativities.

 Gathered dust from our past.

‘Diya’ also means to give.

Be a giver this Diwali.

Give unconditionally.

Give some lovely gifts to oneself also.

Diwali is the time of sweets.

Sweets are meant to be shared.

Wrap the gifts with beautiful thoughts.

Once they are opened, let them shine with the light of your good thoughts.

Now with shared happiness, lights, and clean homes

We are ready to worship Mahalakshmi, The Goddess of wealth and auspiciousness

in our homes and heart.
