Hey Fam! The little girl is back! ❤️❤️
This is the continuation of a previous post. If you haven’t checked the other 4 points yet, check it here!😀😀
5) Eat that frog
Do you, too, have that demonic habit of procrastination? Do you end up procrastinating the resolve to drop procrastination altogether? Fear not! Badrika wale Babaji 💓 will save you, bachcha!😉
This is a clear-cut trick behind getting the most out of your day. I learnt it from Swamiji 💓. You can read about it directly from the Master here.
From Brian Tracy’s book, Eat that Frog,
“Your “frog” is your biggest, most important task, the one you are most likely to procrastinate on if you don’t do something about it. It is also the one task that can have the greatest positive impact on your life and results at the moment”.
Basically, by the lunch time, complete all those tasks which are to be done but you don’t really like to do them. Thus, the situation of procrastination won’t even arise!
What do I do?
1) Bungee Jumping Karwaa do Mendhak Ko!
Keep the high alert tasks high up on the To-Do-List.
2) Teacher-Teacher Khelein?!
Tick it off. I don’t know if it happens with you or not, but I feel a great sense on achievement in ticking off my tasks. So, my To-Do-List has columns and rows wherein I check off the tasks that are completed. Further, there is another column towards the extreme right where I mention the reason as to why I couldn’t complete a task, if any. Writing the reason helps me tackle the reason first and thus removing the obstacle on the path of the ‘frog’ when I attempt to ‘eat’ it again next time or next day.
Like, if I need to pick up the grocery today and my scooty doesn’t start right away, I mention the reason – ‘Scooty ki khatiyaa khadi hai. Band ho Garage mein padi hai’.
Tomorrow, the first ‘frog’ would be to get the scooty repaired. The second ‘frog’ would be getting the grocery.
What do I get of it? I rarely miss a task. All the works are done on time. Everything is almost always organised. Life feels in control. There’s a strange joy in knowing that you are on the Driver Seat of your life’s car. Terrific boost to the self-esteem. A lot gets done in a much lesser time and I get more time to spend with my Isht.
Who says a devotee doesn’t steal! भक्त वक़्त से लम्हें चुराता है ताकि अपने इष्ट पर लुटा सके!😗😗
6) Random Acts of Kindness
Deep within, we all are good humans or at least we try to be. I might be wrong but I like to believe this that we are inherently good. Keeps the hope intact. वरना ज़िन्दगी तो है ही बेसर-पैर की एक बेतुकी कहानी! 😔 Shakespeare चचा Macbeth भईया से बुलवाये थे–
“Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player, / That struts and frets his hour upon the stage, / And then is heard no more. It is a tale / Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, / Signifying nothing.”
I believe everyone has the seed of compassion hidden in us for we all feel the same joy and pain as the other. We just need the right condition for the seed to sprout.
Once a man went to the second sweetest saint, Ramana Maharshi, and asked, “How are we supposed to treat others?”
With a Swami-like smile on His ever radiant face, Maharshi answered, “There are no others.”
We all definitely do some good here and there everyday. What I realised was if we do it mindfully and consciously, it leaves us feeling more fulfilled. May be this is just me and my mind playing tricks but doing RAKs and doing RAKs mindfully are two different for me. The latter humbles my mind while the former just slips away unregistered.
Swamiji says, “A random act of kindness needn’t always be a material offering. Even a word of encouragement, a compliment, a helping hand can be equally, if not more, profound. Make such acts a habit and Nature will reciprocate in kind.”

What do I do?
1) Neki ki Raah pe Tu Chal, Rabba Rahega Tere Sang!
Step 1: Consciously and mindfully do at least 5 RAKs a day.
Step 2: Offer the deeds to your Guru or Isht (if you have one) or to the Universe.
The 2nd step is not mandatory. I do it for it keeps my ego in check and keeps me humble. Because भगवान् कसम जान खा रखा है Ego एकदम! Only Swamiji or Narayan can control this आफत की गोली। मेरे बस का नहीं है ये। 😒😒
As my RAK today, here is a beautiful song for you.😄 Enjoy! ❤️❤️
Please allow me to share the next 4 points in my next post. Blog है, autobiography थोड़ी!😛😛
The little girl loves you all to Badrika and back! (Because mera chaand-tara-sooraj-soorajmukhi sab wahi hai😛. Don’t know about it yet? Find here!) ❤️❤️
Stay super bubbly and stay super productive. Our beloved Swamiji loves productivity!
