One of my friend kept a Durga Saptashati path on New Year’s eve . With Divine Grace, I got an opportunity to attend that Satsang too. We decorated goddess, prayed fervently to the goddess and I also shared some of the esoteric meaning that we all have learnt from our dearest Swamiji. Apart from that, we all discussed our personal experiences and connected with mythological examples of these negative forces inside that limit us and are obstacles to a true seeker.
The wonderful part of the last evening was decorating the Divine Goddess but the best moment for me was the bhajan I was able to write to glorify the divine goddess. I felt as if I received the grace of Swamiji. The smiling face of Swamiji was coming in front of me all the time when these words were flowing through me. This is the first time I was able to scribble few words to glorifying the empress of the universe. I hope you all will like it and I wish someday I could sing this bhajan in the presence of Swamiji.
Meeraji and Abhaaji has requested if they could download all the bhajan so that they can listen at their own convenience. So, I am also attaching the google drive link so that anyone can download these songs if they wish to do so. Thank you so much meeraji for liking these bhajan so much. Although, I am as insignificant as a blade of grass, yet it gives immense pleasure that it becomes a medium for one to develop the love for the Divine.

English Translation :
O’ Divine Goddess,
You do not have any beginning or end,
You alone are the cause of all the beginning and end of what is manifested;
You are called Durga for the reason one is bound by the material limitations manifested out of you,
Again you alone give liberation from these limitations of matter to the one who seeks for it.
You are the power that develops in a devotee as Bhakti, the emotional bond that brings him closer to the Divine,
You are the support of Yogi who seek united with universal consciousness by raising the inner power within;
You are the willpower and aspiration of one who seek to purify himself through selfless work towards humanity,
You alone are the repository of abundant knowledge that finally culminates in absolute truth of Bramhan.
O ‘ Mahakaali , You appear as fierce form of anger to the lower tendencies of the mind,
Please make us free from vices of selfish desires and anger;
O ‘ Mahalaxmi, You appear as beautiful form with detached lotus eyes ,
Please make us full of noble virtues and goodness;
You alone are the Bramhan glorified in the Vedas,
You are the manifested form so that we can perceive him,
Please grace me so that I can abide in this absolute truth at all times.
O’ Divine Goddess,
You do not have any beginning or end,
You alone are the cause of all the beginning and end of what is manifested;
You are called Durga for the reason one is bound by the material limitations manifested out of you,
Again you alone give liberation from these limitations of matter to the one who seeks for it.
Hindi Lyrics:
Maa tum anaadi antaheen ho,
Durg ho tum, Nirvana ho tum;
Bhakta ki Bhakti-shakti tum ho,
Yoga ka nij aadhaar ho tum,
Karma ki karmaagni bhi tum ho,
Gyaan ko woh bhandhaar ho tum;
Maa tum anaadi antaheen ho,
Durg ho tum, Nirvana ho tum;
Hey Mahakaali, Raudrarupini,
Kaam Krodh se lukt karein;
Hey Mahalaxmi, Kamalaatmika,
Satv gunon se yurt karein;
Bramhan bhi tum ho, Bramharupini,
Param gyaan mein sthith yun karein.
Maa tum anaadi antaheen ho,
Durg ho tum, Nirvana ho tum…
Jai Shree Hari 🙏🙏🙏
