Happiness is an evergreen topic!

    Smile Please

We are conditioned so much so that the free flow of Happiness is restricted in our lives. There are set rules and occasions that are happiness specific. As we keep waiting for happiness with a red carpet rolled on, it quietly eludes us! While Unhappiness is our permanent companion and the unwelcome guest. We try to hide it under the carpet. The struggle is quite obvious though!

To meet Happiness, we must address our unhappiness first.

Are we ready for this difficult task?

In one of our osme editorial Medha said Happiness is like a’’ U ‘’ shaped curve.  ( Read it here )

What is the happiness logo then? I would say it is a smile on one’s face. Hidden or open, big or small doesn’t matter smile is the happiness symbol of humans. This is a gift given only to humankind. So smile please 😊

Let Us Clap For Our Failures

‘’ Happiness is a choice we have to make every day‘’ Swamiji. ( Read it here )

Successful people are happy. They steal the show as they get accolades wherever they go and a great fan following. . What about people who are not so successful. Don’t they have a right to be happy too?

But no one can stop us if we decided to clap for our failures.

Let us make a list of our failures.  Bring it out on paper, from where it is hiding. You will find those dark spots deep within. The scars of failures, rejection, and hurt. We have applied a lot of balms to cover these spots. But what they need is healing.

’’ Feel it to heal’’ is a powerful affirmation by

Nithya Shanti On BlackLotus App.

Feel it, sit with it, heal it.

Let us be happy about our failures because they are opportunities for corrections. Clap for them!

The Law Of Attraction

We hear it always. The Law Of Attraction!  And it is true!

We attract what we are. So the first thing we need to do is be happy to attract more happiness. Yes sounds difficult especially if you are waiting for someone to bring it to you. They sure do it, but not 24/7. They have other works to do as well!

Recently a parcel came to me through courier and I was so excited to see someone send me a book, without even giving any hint of it! My heart was filled with happy thoughts about the sender. A loving, kind, understanding soul! That too not even related to me!

The book was  the 15th edition of All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten
Book by Robert Fulghum

The kind of book I love to read. The anonymous sender was none other than a tenant who occupied my flat sometime time back.

I share some lovely quotes from the book ‘’ “It wasn’t in books. It wasn’t in a church. What I needed to know was out there in the world.”

“The leaves let go, the seeds let go, and I must let go sometimes, too, and cast my lot with another of nature’s imperfect but tenacious survivors.”

― Robert Fulghum, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten

These things can happen occasionally. We can attract a book once in a while.  But if you are a book lover you must go out and buy them. There is no other way.

Be Happy

The good news is there is no lack of Happiness. You look around and you will find them!

For me sometimes it is finding small baby plants in my succulent pots. It can be the hungry kittens racing toward me whenever I step out into the garden. ( Kittens are sometimes irritating too ) .

A small kitchen garden is a constant source of happy surprises with tender coriander saplings, microgreens, bright hibiscus, and other flowers.  Happiness is also an end product of patience.

You begin a hobby and keep pursuing it sometimes it can surprise you with happy moments of success and satisfaction.

So all set….

Share some of your happiness triggers here with us in the comments. Love and hugs.
