Venturing into uncharted territories is my quintessential nature.
After completing my +2 in non-medical with flying colors, I switched to humanities instead of pursuing the career of an engineer.
The lure of studying life and it’s intricacies impelled me to take up, much denigrated then, arts subjects.
Though I have not been able to get a high salaried job like my engineer friends, I have understood life and it’s various aspects much better than them.
Intrepid and adventurous, I remember that during my university days, I once went to Kalka to meet my friend.
On a spur, I decided to walk all the way to Chandigarh, about 25 km away!
I chose to march through the dense, deserted forest that ran behind the เคเคเคกเฅ เคฎเคจเฅเคฆเคฟเคฐ ( the renowned temple of goddess Chandi ), to reach my destination.
Enroute I encountered flowers of various hues, wild cats, snakes, exotic birds, deers.
It was really a spiritually uplifting journey!
Rejecting the herd mentality, I turned to spiritualism instead of climbing the social ladder and engrossing myself in useless mundane matters.
Through introspection, meditation, I have gathered that life is much more than running madly after lucre, siblings, plum jobs.
My cravings for material possessions, relations are decreasing by the day.
After unravelling some of the secrets of the creation, I am now much contented, firm believer in the “Invisible Hand” that shapes the destinies of all of us.
Treading unbeaten paths have taught me things that can never be found in any book.
I have written :
Translation : During the journey of life, I have experienced that whenever I have gone astray, I have found new things, a new way.
