If We Have No Desires

.      A month prior to covid start Feb 2020 ,i was in a busy Lajpat Nagar Central Market all bustling with different height ,size and weight women who were Sindhis , Punjabis or Afghanis in Burkha with their families/ freinds buying artificial jewellery,make ups,foot wear! Eating pakorees ,monos and corn with lots of gossips and tears of chatpata chillies !

   A thought crossed my mind ,what if all these buyers become Satvik, satisfied and desire free ,who would buy these products of ostantation and these snacks for taste?

If everyone was satisfied with the design and number of clothes,shoes , jewellery,phones or car or houses, cushion covers,table mats, furniture, curtain or crockery they already had,who would go to a market place to buy new things or visit different Amazon/ Flipkart shopping sites?

With no one wanting to buy anything or eat fancy food..what will happen to the restaurants ,food joints and vendors selling ice cream, choclate, golgappe,chhole bhature ,bhelpuris,wada pao or the giant companies as Coke/ Pepsi or Mac Donald?

If without desire and satisfied with the place where we are at what happens to Hotel,Airline and Railway industry?

I thought these things and next month a complete lock down was announced in country…i saw the same market once on a afternoon drive with my daughter deserted with all shops shutter down,no shop keeper,no customer but only stray dogs roaming around in search of food! There favourite bones from KFC were a miss too!

So my freinds desires are rakt beej but what are your views on their helping our economy and life move?

Did any of you ever think on these lines? Are you able to control your greed/ need yet?
