We chose it in the first place. No one else.
We chose our parents before getting born. We planned our life journeys long back.
We chose our families.
And thence, we chose our childhood, our struggles, our love affair, our life partner, our joys, our happiness, our successes, our failures, our pains, our struggles, our diseases, our doctors, our lessons, our learnings, our teachers, our friends, our mess, our resolutions, our gods, our retreats, our saviours, our goals, our idols, our foes, our fights, our losses, our givings, our debts. Our Life in total.
And it’s an unending game, a circle. It’s a running balance sheet. At the end of every game (life) we get points, based on our performance (karma). We again buy a life based on the balance we have in our account; we choose, irrespective of whatever we may desire for.
Some people chose to retire even after having huge points balance, because they are tired of choosing (shopping) endlessly. They retire decently, on a high. They get a grand welfare. Some are forced to slog endlessly because they can’t chose to retire.
But the real wisdom is in realising that you must retire at some point. We must stop this game at some point, not midway, but consciously realizing that if we are bored yet or not. It’s the nature of this game (life) that we forget how many times have played this earlier. It’s too engrossing. No doubt that we must enjoy it. But we must know to retire as well. For, if we keep playing it, again and again, we might miss the eternal life. Just like 2 cricket matches in a day and whole day is gone.
Game is played to enjoy and relax; if you are bored, probably you have played it many times over. Let’s watch others play and enjoy it that way.
Jai Shri Hari 🙏😊
