Its Worth CONTEMPLATION

It really was worth contemplation. 🥰

Yesterday I was listening to a random YouTube video of a saintly person. In between his talk, he happened to narrate the lives of great bhaktas of last few centuries. 

FRIENDS, IT WAS AN EYE OPENER for me.

He narrated the sewa bhav of a saint of Ayodhya, which left a  deep mark on my mind.  He narrated that although he was a realised soul, having many followers and disciples who would do anything at his one command, yet such deep was his own bhakti and sewa bhaav that he used to quietly get up in the mid of night , take the broom along, go to the ghat of maa saryu, wipe the excreta of random visitors ( यात्री गण ) of अयोध्या Nagri , and put sand on it. He would then quietly clean up the area, come back, take his bath, do morning rituals and get settled in his asan to greet his disciples etc.

In nut shell, he was doing dirtiest of dirty; lowest of low  sewa of common man and that also anonymously. 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

This left me wondering, speechless and humbled.

Since then I have been contemplating over this.

The YouTube speaker emphasised upon this point that lowest of low the form of sewa, quickest and purest its results. This quickly burns our  unknown paap karmas of past.  Picking up the excreta of humans is perhaps the lowest of low job. A saint doing it with sewa bhaav is simply next level of spirituality 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

The scenes of sevadars cleaning washrooms in gurudwaras and at radha swami satsang grounds got  fresh in my memory. 

This made me analyse my position (स्थिति ). Am I any near to such great level of spirituality 🤔.

Very honestly speaking – NOT AT ALL.

But this CONTEMPLATION over sewa bhaav made me a better person, at least for a day. The YouTube talk motivated me to clean all three washrooms of my own house 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. I asked myself as to why I expect other family members to do this job. And SEWA begin from home. Spirituality begin from this very place, where I am right now.
