Once upon a time
When I was a kid
I painted a forest
Lush with the greens
And all kinds of hum & song
Yet somehow it felt empty
Deserted and devoid of life
Today I hear the sweetest melodies
Of a river gushing by
The sound of love & life
Along comes the jingle of anklets
Soft feet treading upon the earth
Tinkling laughter that warms the heart
Who is it that comes this way?
Is that You, Maa?
Have you finally arrived
To transform this barren forest
Into your Kadamba Vann..
Is that you oh Maa!
