Namaskaar everyone,
It’s 31st December evening right now and most of the humanity is already in celebration mode which I will be joining too shortly. I was planning to write and share my experience and journey with Bhagavad Gita but thought of writing a few lines about Om Swamiji first before the end of the year. Please allow me to share some of the profound knowledge I have learned from Swamiji in the last few years which has deeply impacted and changed my thoughts forever. I learned –
- You are on the right spiritual path if you strongly believe in Ahimsa (non-violence) and have at least a little but gratitude to nature.
- Fear, Anger, hatred, jealousy and greed are the five biggest enemies of human contentment.
- Our physical body is no more than 15-20% of what we eat. It is mostly what we think.
- Why does God most of the time doesn’t respond to our wishes ? because we have too many wishes or desires. Keep focus on only one wish until it is fulfilled. Universe is bound to conspire to get it done, that is the law of the universe.
While experiences from a holy place Namkmatta are the roots of my spiritual journey, Swamiji is the trunk who gave me support and direction to grow and Bhagavad Gita is everything else (branches, leaves, fruits). I will start sharing my experiences with Bhagavad Gita from my next blogs, but just wanted to quickly acknowledge the positive impact from Swamiji first.
Thank you Swamiji for being a master. Thanks to the entire community as his disciples.
