Hey there,
Get lost in books,
Maybe sometimes not looking for,
Just the sheer joy of reading.

If they held the power to destroy dynasties,
What’s in shattering your stinking beliefs.

At the dawn of wisdom,
World remains the same,
Although your lenses change.

If no idea is original,
Only a combination of precedence,
Then this emergence from nothingness,
To such vastness in creation,
Holds truth in turning pages.

Connecting the diversity of humanity,
Collecting the confliction,
Reaching the unreachable,
Learning from the dead,
And teaching the unborn.

If seeking miracles,
Look on the shelf,
And be part of a miracle.

Lost in books,
am I,
Drowned in them,
am I,
One who approaches to save,
Also drowns,
For the drowning,
Is worth the dip,
And if death occurs,
Don’t worry,
For a new you,
Will emerge bright.

P.S: Thank you and deep gratitude for reading my poems. It’s a newly discovered talent in me, maybe not rhyming and good enough, but I found poetry is the best medium to express our emotions. And that’s the reason I started writing them, it frees up my mind, relaxes me, and the creative expression is deeply fulfilling. I mostly write with my feelings and experience, and not to fill the word limit, so have to include these lines in every poem as they are shorter than one one-fifty words to publish. Accept my gratitude (although I don’t have much).
