Maker and Checker Rule

I sent an email to the client and forgot to mark cc to my boss and another partner, due to which the task was delayed. My boss noticed the next day and asked me the reason. I told him I had just answered the same email and thought the email would go to the same people.

Then he said very wise words, “ Be patient and don’t rush with things. Apply the maker and checker rule on yourself regularly. This way, we will be able to improvise ourselves. ”

Ahan, patience is the key; honestly speaking, I lack that. I am working on myself. This is not only in work but in life also. We should always check before finalizing things/decisions, etc. We all want validation, and the problem is we want validation from others. We need to look inside sometimes. We should try first before taking the help. Taking help is not bad, but we need to learn to be independent.

So, let’s apply the checker and maker rule to ourselves.
