Migration through time
Costs milestones
For us to emerge
Into this openness
Shared with the sun
And other adherents
Of the cosmic way of life
Spreading millions of lights
So our eyes may see
Though hopelessly dark
We’re part of a migration
That expands into frontiers
Telescopes can’t find
Our eyes are too weak
Let them get their rest
As we migrate inwards
To another emptiness
Where illumination waits
To reward that migration
