My First Visit to Shri Badrika Ashram

If you have read this Post then you must be knowing that how lord planned my first ever visit to the abode, “Shri Badrika Ashram”.

Our bookings for ashram visit was for 7th and 8th of January as these were the weekend holidays for my newly joined job. The plan was to board on train on Friday night and reach the ashram at 6a.m ish in the next Saturday morning. We were on tight budget so I used every possible combination in order to minimise the expenditure at the same time maximum utilisation of time at ashram.

The Plan

06/01/2023 10:00 PM : board on train from old Delhi to Kalka station.

7/01/2023 3:00 AM: deboard at kalka station and hoping on Cab booked upto ashram

8/01/2023 8:00PM : Cab from ashram to kalka station

9/01/2023 12:00AM : board on kalka to Delhi train

9/01/2023 6:00. AM: deboard at Old Delhi railway station

Some issues with this Plan

Plan mentioned above uses the available time most efficiently but it’s little bit costly due to taxi in between ashram and station.

Fare of train: 180+180= 360 ( Excellent 👍)

Fare of taxi: 2700+2700=5400( expensive)

We were two friends and in order to minimise the taxi expenditure we have to add one more passenger with us so that the fare gets shared. Luckily there is a particular telegram group where you can check who is coming to ashram and availability of seats if they have. So I wrote on the group and A devotee of Swami ji from Narnaul Haryana, Mohit dadeia showed the interest as he also had the same day bookings at ashram. Mohit decided to go to their relatives living in delhi, So that he can also book the same train with us. Coincidence or what his realitives live nearby my home.

Execution

We three boarded on delhi metro and deboarded at old Delhi railway station what we found was that the train we booked was running late by 5 hrs. We boarded on train at 2:00AM and reached kalka station at 7:30 AM

Jo hota hai acha hota hai

Sun was up and we can admire the unimaginable beauty of mountains and without we even realised, we saw the board “Om Swami Badrika ashram”,showing the route towards the most adventurous last 10km of Ashram journey.

One of us can’t hold his happiness and got the motion sickness during the rocking and rolling motion,so we have to Stop in between our journey. Who don’t know about the ashram’s last 10km road, it’s a steep narrow road which crosses a mountain, going upto the peak and then coming down to valley where the lord’s abode resides. Coincidentally we stopped at the top most peak of the road. Scenery was humongous, so much so that I can’t see it for too long due to fear of falling down.

Our Entry

We finally reached our final destination at 11:45AM 7/01/2023

Receptionist sushree ji: Pawan your friends have group meetings but please don’t panic you might have a personal meeting with Swami ji.please meet me after having your lunch .

I can’t write what I felt after hearing this dream come true lines.

Mohit and my friend asked me how you got that? you lucky man!

Well I was not aware what was going on, but after lunch everything got cleared by sushree ji as this was just an issue with the system.

Dil ke Armaan assuon mei beh gaye!

But yes we got group pranam meeting, means we have to just offer pranam and have to come out of the meeting room.

I got the privilege to attend Sadhvi Vrinda om Ji’s meditation session during which my tears just flowed as someone has cleaned a dirty filthy floor with splash of water. Also, sushree diya om ji’s satsang filled with ecstasy of devotion. The food was amazing and everyone was too kind.

I can’t describe Swami Ji’s presence sorry no words nothing .

We all boarded on our taxi at 8:00PM 08/01/2023 from ashram to Kalka station and everything went according to plan.
