My Journey to Varanasi…Part 6

The auto driver bhaiya ‘s name was Raju Kumar.  Raju bhaiya said it will take almost 40 min to reach Markandeshwar temple. So from Sarang we headed for Markandeshwar mandir. It was almost dark when we reached there. Luckily there were not much crowd. We bought flowers,milk, and all other ingredients for puja and entered the holy temple. It was customary that first you have to pray to markandeshwar rishi and then to Lord Shiva. We met the pujari , pintu Maharaj.  Pintu Maharaj ji explained the entire story of Markandeya muni which we almost all know.

Chandrashekhar chandrashekhar  chandrashekhar  pahimam…Chandrashekhar  chandrashekhar  chandrashekhar rakhsyamam,  chandrashekhar Maa sare mam Kim karisyati vayam…. the prayer of markandeya rishi to Shiva… we had a very beautiful puja in the temple. I saw that the idol of markandeya rishi is a black big stone There is no image idol. It was around 8pm in the evening.  We headed back to hotel. Raju bhaiya took me to hotel with safety. Our next day planning Was to have the holy darshan of Shri Kashi  Viswanath temple and kal bhairav temple. I was very tired and after my dinner at hotel I slept early.  I knew all is grace. Grace of Mother Divine,  grace of my beloved Guru without which nothing was possible. Har Har Mahadev….
