Jai Sri Hari and a warm hug of love for my dear OS family. A cold wave has swept through the Northern parts of India, and we in Hyderabad are relatively immune from it. I wanted to share my vision board for 2023 with you. A big thanks to Nikunj Om for the idea and for sharing her vision board on Canava

January: I waste too much time after getting up in the morning on my mobile phone just reading world events. January is dedicated to simply ensuring I take a bath within fifteen minutes of waking up.

February: Do Pranayam every day. It’s a thirty-minute pranayama series by Yog Guru Dheeraj. Thank you, Anindita Di, for sharing this. It will help with Vase Breathing when I start serious meditation. Breath is the basis of our existence, and we take it for granted.

March: Only forty-five minutes of non-work phone time every day. It currently runs into several hours.

April: I want to do some basic yogic postures for sitting with a straight spine. They may include Surya Namaskar and some other stuff I have learned over the years.

May: I will chew my food 32 times during every bite for all my meals. This will automatically cut down the food I eat and help reduce weight.

June: Only fruits and sautéed veggies at night. Could also add soups. Basically, no carbs or protein at night.

July: Zero process sugar. The only source of sugar will be fruits. This means no sweets or anything that’s packaged.

August: No Potatoes month. That’s going to be very tough. Dosa without masala is simply a pancake. But after chewing food, eating fruits, and cutting down on sugar, this is the logical next step.

September: Focus Meditation Month: This month, the vase breathing and straight spine stuff, along with diet control, should help me complete the Focus Meditation pack on Black Lotus. That’s crucial since I naturally love Zen and shy away from Focus meditation.

October: Sri Hari Only Month: This month will be dedicated to Sri Hari on the Sadhana app, deepening my devotion to him.

November: No YouTube for Personal Use Month: This is very tough since I use YouTube heavily to learn about new things. I also end up watching random stuff, which leads to time wastage.

December: Introducing Mauna and sitting with minimal movement for 30 minutes. Mauna will try including Mental Mauna as much as possible. This will be exhausting because I will keep forcing my mind to return to the present moment.

Thanks again, Nikunj. Had you not put in the additional work of sharing the template with me, I would not have put in the work to build my own template. It’s going to be a fun year, and I look forward to sharing monthly progress with the OS family. We hold each other accountable and that will help all of us progress.
