Nature’s Acceptance

To protect its vulnerable continuance

nature goes through every tinge of acceptance.

Right from the trees to air,

our reckless ventures are not fair.

Forests are slaughtered

yet their wailing screams aren’t heard.

The once clear air has no other option

but to accept this mounting pollution

We don’t mind adding filth to water,

as our habits now are nastier and meaner

The three R’s are just words to say

as no one follows it anyway.

Our actions will have its consequence

and if we continue, there would be a greater nuisance.

For each tree that is curtailed,

has a strong hidden message.

And don’t think nature isn’t weeping

 it’s just accepting what it is getting.

And before it chooses not to accept anything else,

Stop and see the effects of your acts

And please don’t make this inevitable neglect

Or else one day we will have to regret.
