Following are some of my favorite verses from the Srimad Bhagvad Gita and Uddhava Gita given by Lord Sri Krishna.

The Blessed Lord said: O Arjuna! Where from, in this critical situation, has this mental dejection taken hold of you, which is shameful and unworthy of heaven?

Oh Arjuna! Knowledge is covered by this which is in the form of desire, which is (like) the insatiable fire, (and) which is the permanent enemy of the wise.

O Arjuna! Do not yield to impotence. It does not befit you. Cast off this wretched weakness of heart. Arise, O scorcher of enemies!

Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer in sacrifice, whatever you give away, and whatever you practise in the form of austerities, Ο son of Kunti— do it as an offering to Me.

As long as the Atman is connected with the Buddhi by Superimposition, so long will that connection involve him in the body – mind and the experiences gained through them. Once you identify with the Fourth, the mind and sense objects come to be dissociated.

The false ego of the Jiva alone places him in bondage and awards him exactly the opposite of what he really desires. Therefore, an intelligent person should give up entanglement with Samsara, resting on the Transcendental.

For a wise Brāhmin (the benefit available) in all the vedās is the same as the benefit (available) in a pond when there is flood everywhere.

Therefore Uddhava, abandon relying on the scriptural injunctions and prohibitions, the paths of enjoyment and  renunciation, what you’ve learnt and what you yet hope to learn (about personal well being). Surrender wholeheartedly your whole being to Me alone, the Self of all. By that, you shall be free from fear through My grace.

Of all means of spiritual discipline, the best according to Me is to practice my presence in everything through the functions of mind, speech and action.

Look upon every man, woman, and everyone as God. You cannot help anyone, you can only serve: serve the children of the Lord, serve the Lord Himself, if you have the privilege. If the Lord grants that you can help any one of his children, blessed you are; do not think too much of yourselves. Blessed you are that that privilege was given to you when others had it not. Do it only as a worship. I should see God in the poor, and it is for my salvation that I go and worship them. The poor and the miserable are for our salvation, so that we may serve the Lord, coming in the shape of the diseased, coming in the shape of the lunatic, the leper, and the sinner!”

Why should we always search the Internet for different prayers.

Go create your own prayer.
