Despite having no personal desires,
your conduct is so kind;
tell me oh Lord, for how long can I shamelessly remain unkind?

Despite being the Lord of the universe,
you act like a servant;
tell me oh Lord, for how long I can shamelessly act like a master?

Despite having the power to produce anything by your mere wish,
you work so hard;
oh Lord, tell me, for how long can I shamelessly remain lazy?

Just by witnessing your infinite compassion, love and selfless action,
my shameless selfishness is dying;
oh Lord, please,
don’t save it this time;
let it merge into you

On this most auspicious day of present age, a tiny offering at the lotus feet of my lord. Happy avataran diwas.

Sriman Narayan

I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas.

I am the goal, the sustainer, the master, the witness, the abode, the refuge and the most dear friend. I am the creation and the annihilation, the basis of everything, the resting place and the eternal seed.
