Sometimes, people who are close to me ask me how you sing glories of someone whom you have never met, what if whatever you think of him is just a figment of your imagination ? They ask me how you are able to say that there is no difference for you between Lord and your master ?

When someone says that to me, all I can do is smile and pray to lord that they guide them in a way, in the path, that is meant for them . To them, I always smile and tell them, I no more see my master as one in a form (although his form is quite enchanting and adorable to me), rather I see him as an awareness, a light of awareness, and experience him within . There is only one pristine awareness that illumines everything and everywhere, and this is the reason I see no difference between lord and my master.

Coming to the question of imagination, what if, he is just a figment of my imagination, I tell them that in last few years, I have realized that each and everything we know and observe is indeed a figment of our own imagination alone, be it a person we live with, an idea, or a philosophy. It is our own mind, and the information stored within from our past action that guides us to act in a certain way.

Let’s say I see a banana, a desire to eat banana props up, suddenly past information of taste of banana gets activated, past information of smell of banana comes forth, and I act like a monkey,🐒 , grabbing that banana. So, it is indeed my imagination of good taste and favorable smell of banana that compelled me to act in a certain way. If by any chance, I had a past information stored of eating banana and throwing up or acute stomach pain or bad smell or any other unfortunate event, this will compel to stay away from banana as much as possible. So, I have never met him physically and even he is a figment of my own imagination, I am absolutely in love with this imagination. Faith can only be experienced and can’t be logically explained.

Now for all those who love Swamiji, I have written an ode to express how he make all of us feel his presence all the time 😊😍🌼😍😊

Hindi bhajan with English translation :

Daataa, mere Swami, Daataa, mere Swami,

O’ giver of all things, my master, my lord,

Teri karuna bahe re, nadi bankar bahe re,

Your compassion overflows from all side, like a river flowing from coast to coast purifying all land;

Daataa, mere Swami, Daataa, mere Swami,

O’ giver of all things, my master, my lord,

Tera hi Prakash jo, satya mujhko darshaaye,

It is your light alone that guides me to lead a truthful life,

Tu hi to Prakaash woh, satya ban jo dikh jaaye,

And you are that light brings forth the truth within me;

Daataa, mere Swami, Daataa, mere Swami,

O’ giver of all things, my master, my lord,

Tu hi to woh namrataa, jo sabse mujh tak bah jaaye,

I see your humility flowing in the kind deeds done unto me,

Tu hi to woh jyota hai, jo bhadra mujh mein keh laaye,

And you alone are the light, that people see in wholesome deeds done by me;

Daataa, mere Swami, Daataa, mere Swami,

O’ giver of all things, my master, my lord,

Tu hi to sankalpa jo, chattaan ko bhi todh de,

You alone are the intention, will power within, that breaks the hardened tendencies from eons,

Tu hi to vairagya woh, mann ka pravaah modh de,

You alone are the dispassion within that turn the mind inwards,

Daataa, mere Swami, Daataa, mere Swami,

O’ giver of all things, my master, my lord,

All Glories to master! All Glories to Lord !
