Our Gir tour and vedantic concepts (last) day 4

Today is the day of our jungle safari in waking state/ jagrat avastha. Because yesterday night, as there were thousands of thoughts of jungle,  my mind created a beautiful  dream world of jungle.

Throughout dream sleep state I was wandering in the jungle to see various animals and plant species. But I didn’t see the Lions. When woke up in the morning, I told everyone about my dream forest safari.

( I remembered the theories of creation. That world is just an illusion superimposed upon the Substratum of Brahman. The material and efficient cause of my dream world was one and the same…the mind. The trees, bushes, animals, guards, etc were there…hundreds of kilometers I wandered in the dream jungle. But  for others, my body was lying down on the bed. No one could enter my dream forest with me. That showed that everything was going on in mind.)

After waking up, we all laughed at my dream because it became obvious that it was just an illusion.  ( when efficient cause and material cause is one and the same, then whatever gets created is the illusion. Mind created dream world out of itself…..result is an illusion. This is how advaitins explain world as an illusion. )
So with lots of hopes, and curiosity we reached  ‘sinha- sadan’ – office of gir jungle safari at 3.30pm. We have been allowted an open jipsy, one guide and a driver. We were very much excited.
We have enjoyed jungle safari in pench forest ( Maharashtra state ) many times. We have seen most of the animal including tigers.

After entering the Gir forest, one nilgaay wellcomed us. She was standing near a water body to drink the water. She first stared at us… Then thinking us as useless ( harmless) , she started drinking water slowly… In between watching us…. We took her photos and said goodbye….
Then herd of deers asked us to take their photo session.. and so we did… They ran in the jungle saying us TaTa..
He & She peacocks were uncountable… At every few meter distance, they were seen in groups.
I always ask God, why the He peacock is made more beautiful than She peacock? Because almost all species have their females more beautiful than males. ( including humans… 😄😄. Even if some exceptionals  are born, there are innumerable transformation parlors. I remembered one advertisement of photo  studio- “If you are not beautiful, we will make you beautiful “.  So every woman or girl is beautiful by hook or crook.)
I Empathized every laandor/ she peacock. 🤪🤣

We were just talking about the peacocks and…. Lo… There was a whisper…. Sh$$$$$$$
our guide was pointing towards distant shrub… Dried and yellow… Earth was also having a typical summery yellow look…. We were staring at it….. And that’s it… 👍🤞🙌…… We saw something moving…. We started watching with concentration and wide open eyes….. And……. Look….. He was coming with royal gait…. Slowly…. Step by step…. Totally ignoring the surrounding people in jipsies… All were admiring…. Brethholding…..
We were not prepared…. Not imagined to see him like this all of a sudden… and that too at such a small distance from us…. He came just in front of our jipsy… Looking at all of us… We didn’t move… He came from right side of our jipsy …stared at us…but gracefully walked along the back road… We all turned  backward and observed him without the blinking of eyelids… We watched him till he disappeared….
Bright, yellow, with his feary but graceous look, royal and indifferent attitude….. This is how the king should be…

We were in joy, contented… Fulfilled… And hence relaxed….  we started discussing and….. Another wispering sound….
“They are two….  Both were coming from left side of jungle… Looking alike…. Guide said they are the cubs of 7-8years. They didn’t have much hair around their neck and that too very light brown in colour. They were  crossing the road fearlessly… Totally ignoring the people and vehicles….. We were observing them for at least 10 minutes…… We were recording their videos…. and saw another lion. It was slight different. Guide said she was a lionesses. She didn’t have hair around her neck. She was following the Cubs…. But unlike the lions and cubs she was little bit aggressive. She made a loud noise … seeing too much people. But we didn’t get afraid of her. We took so many snaps…stared at her till she get vanished….

Uptill now, all of us were enjoying the scene without a trace of a fear. But my son’s friend whispered, ” Let’s go from this place… So many lions are here…. Up till now they didn’t harm us…. But who knows they won’t??? ‘
We laughed…. )😄😄😄
Then we moved on….. We were in such a state of desirelessness, that we left even watching surrounding jungle… ( I remembered there is the ultimate state where nothing remains to be achieved…😆🤪)

When everyone was watching and admiring the lion, I was conversing with him subtly…

“Hey….. King of a jungle….. Glad to meet you…..!”

“Me  too…..!”

“I want to hug you….!”🤗

“Oh…. No…. No…. No….. That’s not a joke……!”🤣

“I am not joking….. Please….!😐”

“Are you not afraid of me???”

“No… Not at all….. In fact, I have learned that we should see same Self/ tatva in all….. What is in me, the same is in you…. So why to afraid of ???”🤔

“Galat….. ( wrong…). You learned a half Truth…..”😼

“How can you say like this???….”

“”भावाद्वैतं सदा कुर्यात् क्रियाद्वैतं न कुत्रचित्।”… Didn’t you remember this shloka by shankaraachaary maharaj? That you should be समदर्शी but not समवर्ती??”

“Oh….. Yes….. I got it….. See same tatva in all but treat all according to their tendencies/ प्रव्रृत्ती।”

“Yes…… You got it…. You and me are same in tatvic aspect… But our pravritt is different.”

“Yes…. I can feed a grass to a cow. But not the same to you….”

“Right….. You can pat Or hug your selvie ( my pet cat) but not me….I can eat you…ha….ha…..😅😅

“Ok…OK…….. Got it….. Thank you… Bye…..!”🤯😳🤣

I was lost in the silent conversation. Then suddenly someone spoke in loud noise….

” Leopard…….. Drinking the water from the pond…. “
We looked with curiosity… Yes…the leopard was drinking water…. I suddenly remembered our selvie. She also drinks water in same style….
There was not much excitement at the sight of leopard. 😑( probably because of the law of diminishing returns)

At 7pm, we returned at sinha- sadan. Said goodbye to our guide and driver….
After eating a dinner at the forest hotel….all had a dreamless sleep…..and thus we ended our(last) day 4 world of our tour…

        Jai Sri Hari!
