Holi is known as the Festival of Colors. It is celebrated every year by Hindus with great enthusiasm and joy. The main ritual of holi is ” holika dahan ” and ” Playing with colors “. The four main colors typically used are – red, yellow, green, blue and Pink. Every color TV has its own significance Or different meanings. 

Red Color:

The red color is one of the most popularly used colors during this festival. This color symbolizes love, weddings, and fertility. That’s why Hindus put a red tikka on their forehead, married women apply red kumkum and wear red coloured clothes for the same reason.

Yellow Color:

Yellow is a very bright color and indication of happiness. In ancient times, this color was typically made with turmeric powder. It is the significance of happiness and good health. This color also depicts knowledge, learning, peace and joy. You should definitely play with this color during Holi.

Green Color:

The green color is a color that can naturally be obtained from spinach. Green color symbolizes the new beginnings, harvest and freshness. It is said that Lord Rama was banished in the forest for all his life, the green color is what calmed him as it also represents nature and its beauty.

Blue Colour:

Blue is the colour of Lord Krishna’s complexion which symbolises strength and spiritual growth. This colour is a reminder that evil exists but can be defeat, through courage and the right actions.

Pink Colour:

People love pink colour the most as this colour is the symbol of positivity and kindness. It establishes caring and compassion as some of the most important virtues. The pink colour mainly tells us about fun and is generally extracted from beetroot.
