 O’Nanda baba, brija ke mere raja,

Nandaba, the royal king of Holy land of Virja,

Brij Mandal ab raman karein,

He now freely roam in the spiritual abode of Vrija,

Kaanha ka Prem tum sang jab jyaada,

You are the one, dearest to the Supreme Lord, Krishna,

Gopiyaan jaan yeh naman karein;

We, Gopis of Vrija know this truth and pay our humble tribute to you, Revered Father of Krishna,

Idhar Udhar sab jag woh bhaaga,

He has been away from you, conquering the heart of the entire universe,

Haath teraa  hi thaame huye,

It was your anchor and support that he managed this impossible feat, Nandababa,

Jnana dharam jo seekhaa gopaala,

He learned the highest wisdom and righteous action,

Goda mein Teri hi baithe huye,

Sitting in your lap since his early years,

Ronaa na maiyyaa kahin gaya nahin baba,

O’ Matarani, our Yashoda Maiyya, may I humbly ask you to wipe off your tears?

Brij Mandal ab raman karein,

Our Nadababa, the royal king of Vrija is freely roaming in the spiritual abode of Vrija,

Kaanha ka Prem tum sang sab jyaada,

You, Nandababa are the one, dearest to the Supreme Lord, Krishna,

Gopiyaan jaan yeh naman karein;

We, Gopis of Vrija know this truth and pay our humble tribute to you, Revered Father of Krishna,

Sab ka dukh har le mera kaanha,

My Krishna, the most beloved always takes away the pain of anyone who comes to him,

Dukh apnaa khud hi woh sahe,

But he bears his pain in solitude alone,

Utha ab kaanha Dekha Bolein nandbaba,

O’ My Sweetest Krishna, Say something, get up, see the royal king Nandababa is asking,

Brij mandal sang raman karein,

Let’s be together in the spiritual abode of Vrija,

Pushpa ki varsha Jahaan karein indraraja,

O’ Krishna, you alone can see how Nandababa is showered with eternal joy and love there,

Brij mandal sang raman karein,

You, Nandababa are the one, dearest to the Supreme Lord, Krishna,

Gopiyaan shat shat naman karein;
