Swamiji, at your lotus feet always πŸ™‡πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ’πŸ™πŸΌ

This was written couple of years back, small editions done now…

Of course, I love Nature!!
Sometimes i feel, though the brain develops completely by the age of 5, itΒ
starts to function only after marriage!! πŸ˜‰

When i was a kid, i had couple of favorite imaginations..
While walking back from school, i used imagine sitting in a
a pushpak viman, which will take me wherever i want to go,Β
i reach my destination watching tv, reading books and eating chips
It was so joyous to eat imaginary chips and reading books everyday this way πŸ™‚Β
It all stopped once i started going to school by pushpak(name of the bus! irony!) city bus,Β
carrying big luggage on my back, people pushing from all sides, and conductor’s disgrace looks for buspass holders 😌…
these imaginations didn’t have time and place in the crowded bus..:(

Another one was, to have a house(mud hut?) in the middle of forest, river flowing nearby,
eating fruits and vegetables available from the forest πŸ˜›
deer and peacocks around the house :O…how romantic!!
Never thought about scorpions, snakes as surprise guests? Even the ant bite can cause days of burning and stinging effect…
Just imagine the mighty Pandavas killing mosquitoes and shooing crows in our serials!! (I know i know they might have used all sorts of mantras to protect themselves from these creatures!, brain is still developing 🀷)

Now I don’t think i want to stay so close to nature anymore,Β
especially after cleaning pigeon droppings on
my two wheeler almost everyday..
Someone well said, ‘thank God, cows don’t fly!! ‘

In my youth, i thought only way to show love towards nature is to stay in nature,so i used to go for trekking often …(very adventurous ones, story for some other time)

Somehow it used to happen, most of the time we would start trekking towards the evening,
making it naturally more adventurous because of darkness and uncertainties.
In the night when u see shinning eyes in the bushes, you know only one thing forΒ
sure, it is not of one of ur team member, rest nothing can be done!!…just pray to god and
keep walking…
I was never afraid of wild animals, you see, sometimes ignorance is bliss..
But let me tell u one thing, i am afraid of ghosts, ghosts are the most unpredictable ones… no one has been ever able to tell, what their problem is!!

Ok, back to nature, the most disappointing trekking was when we had to put a tent in front of a house and spend the night instead amidst nature!!Β

If u have true love for nature, then u should allow nature to love u back in its own way..
Allow mosquito to bite, leeches to suck ur blood..
have u seen any animal killing mosquitoes or using mosquito repellent?!Β  That is called, living in harmony with nature.
why go all the way to forests, putting so much effort, killing mosquitoes, leeches and cut short their lives?

After donating lot of blood to mosquitoes and leeches, i started to feel there must be some better way to appreciate nature!!

After marriage, when i saw my husband watching NATGEO and other channels endlessly, just relaxing on sofa, drinking tea, that was the time i stopped telling my adventurous trekking to him and to others!…Β
Instead, now we go for nature walks, mid track for both…

I love nature, but i love it more watching it on TV!!

PS: i still love to go for trekkings and spending time in nature,Β  but pantings and breathlessness during trekking making me to stop and smell the rose oftenπŸ˜… so taking it easy!!
