My name is Praasshant, and I am nobody. If I am anything, I am creative, sensitive, and passionate. That sums me up precisely.

I am probably the youngest practitioner here in terms of walking the path of sadhanas and mantras. Needless to say, I am not only enjoying the transformation within myself, but I see my family members, friends, and colleagues getting touched, moved, and inspired too!

Coming back to superheroes. If you noticed, even the superheroes are unaware of their superpowers. Their abilities to perform miracles and benefit the ordinary ones. Their magic. But they keep getting hints about it just like a spark from a match stick when struck against the strip. And that glimpse of spark is nothing but an inspiration and motivation to strike harder. Push harder. Whatever you just did, do it again and with intensity. That’s it.

Much like the analogy above, I had almost forgotten about the ritual me and my childhood friend, Piyush, used to do. He is now settled in the USA, but when I heard he is in India, I went to Ahmedabad to meet him. Life is so unpredictable these days. Traveling a few hundred KM is worth the time spent in childhood.

We were in grade 9 in different schools. And while playing and strolling together unknowingly we developed a habit of using foul words, way too much than using occasionally. And there was a temple of Kali Maa at a distance of 3 KM on the highway. We made a pact, no more foul words. One who breaks walks up to the temple of Mahakali Maa barefoot.

And the journey to Mahakali Maa temple started, both barefoot and comfortably as well. It took us many barefoot to-and-fros walks up to the temple before we both started visiting regularly with slippers! And one thing that we looked forward to was the prasad. The coconut. And small jaggery. We relished it in our childhood.

It was sheer innocence, but I totally wonder why did we practice it? Did Maa call me as that was my first visit to her temple? And ever since, I never skipped visiting her.

The temple is still there, but the jungle is replaced by concrete. And we both visited there recently when Piyush came here. Spent a couple of hours eating the coconuts, sitting at the same place. And talking at a stretch about our memories, right in the premise of Maa. Oh, such a bliss it was. And later he thanked me for choosing this place over the coffee shop of Marriot. 🙂

Recently, when I came across some mantras(you might read more about powerful mantras for miracles), I was looking for on the internet, and Om Swamiji’s book, life took a U-turn. A lot of intense practice (self learned) and japas have done some wonders in my life. But this time, I am pushing it harder.

Unlike my childhood, this time, I am going to realize the superpower of the mantras mentioned in the beautiful book by Om Swamiji, the Ancient Science of mantras.

Seeking your blessings Swamiji. Seeking a proper path toward my awakening. It’s a long way. Looking forward to getting initiated by you 🙂

Pranam!
