Teenage is a fundamental stage that each human being passes through. Teenage is the age of the person between 13-19. Teenage is the age where we are not in our senses, we don’t know how to react with people , we don ‘t know who is mine and who is our enemies. At this age we are neither properly adults nor we are children in the eyes of law and even in the eyes of parents.
During this time, teens are exposed to external and internal struggles. They go through hormonal changes, puberty, social and parental forces, work and school pressures, so on. Many teens feel misunderstood in every relationship. It is vital that their feelings and thoughts are approved and that approval comes from their parents. Parents need to talk to their children who have been dealing with teenage growth issues carefully and in a friendly manner. Some people face this stage of their life strongly and positively while others face many problems and difficulties and negativity.
Some common teenage problems :
1. Self-Esteem and Body Image

7. Teen Pregnancy
8. Underage Sex

Tips to solve teenage problems:
1. Identify the problem:
The foremost step is to teach your child to identify their problems. Ask them about the current situation and how they want it to turn out. Also, encourage him to handle the problem with a positive attitude.
2. Focus:
Tell them to focus on the problem, not the person or the emotion. It will help him face the problem strongly and positively rather than suffer from anxiety, frustration and depression.
3. Listen:
Listening is a very critical problem to solve. Tell your child to listen to everyone without arguing. Encourage them to use statements such as ‘I need, I want, I feel’.
4. Generate a solution:
Sit down with your child and encourage him / her to think about all the possible ways to solve the problem. Your child may come up with a variety of solutions to solve their problem. Some of them will also be impractical. Let them explore their creative abilities.
5. Evaluate the solution:
Teach your child to evaluate the merits and demerits of each of the possible solutions. Ask them to imagine what would happen when they try the solution. Help them leave the options in which the negatives outweigh the positives.
6. Put the idea into practice:
Now tell your child to implement the idea into practice. Encourage them to give their best and see how it works. Your goal should be to allow your child to solve the problems independently i.e. without your help.
7. Evaluate the outcome:
At last, evaluate the outcome of the solution. You cannot solve problems in one attempt. So tell them to try all the possible solutions and also prepare backup plans. It will also teach your child to not give up easily in any situation.
Hope these tips will help you!
