The ‘acceptance of duality’ (read this phrase 5 times)
or in other words, acceptance of our differences, contradictions, separation, preferences, emotions, morals, practices, views, religion, race, judgement, and every other definable thing that exists in this world or that could be thought about, talked about, heard about, seen (even for a moment)
– gives birth to the Singularity, the oneness, or the common thread of consciousness (as awareness).
The key word is acceptance.
Confused? Read ahead!
It is in this acceptance that the two could be different (and can’t be reconciled!), one rises above both (in perception) and becomes a third singular entity containing both of these different attitudes or characteristics.
When centered within, this Singular attitude or ‘awareness’ is the only basis of much talked about bliss and peace. It’s only in this bliss and peace that you not only accept everything and everyone but remain separate from it, unperturbed, dispassionate, equananimous, indifferent and unaffected. This is only that infinite calm sea of blissful consciousness where every other fluctuation gets submerged. This is only what is called as, Sanyas (as a way of living life), Jeevan mukt or Enlightened (as a person), Samadhi (as a mental and physical state), Mahasamadhi (as a state at the time of death), Moksha (as concept of final deliverance), Siddha or Accomplished (one who has mastered the samadhi even in waking state and can go in it at will).
As these states exist for an individual being (as microcosm), these also exist for the macrocosm (the planet, solar system, galaxy and this universe – don’t forget to keep changing the reference as you think about every other entity, like yourself of earth when thinking for it etc).
Every other incident happening in this universe is only towards expansion of this consciousness, into more refined forms, a movement towards Singularity.. the only tussle is doing it while maintaining indivuality (of subjective experience). A Human Being is the result of this great tussle of keeping the individuality, while having the consciousness refined continuously throughout life through varied subjective experiences. This process is only what we call as evolution. It’s in this tussle that the title of a Siddha, an accomplished one is the most sought after (as life objective). Once a Siddha, everything is a part of yourself. You rise above all pettiness of life. You become that ‘one reality’ which appears separate, but infest and impregnate every other being with himself.
But who does it at a universal scale, you would ask. None other than Shri Hari, the dark one (sitting at the center of ours and every other galaxy) manifesting as a grand exquisite tunnel (having it’s own grand attributes as well) delivering (on the other side) us to the great but soft light of Shiva (the ultimate oneness) or the universal consciousness or the most refined form of Shakti – as pure awareness, or Silence, or the vast peaceful space without even tiniest of fluctuations. Your choice, whatever you can call it. If this all is validated one day by scientific evidences (which seems impossible through objective empirical means), it might also come to the fore that, our galaxy is not flat as understood now. It should come out as conical, a finely curved cone to be precise. It appears flat because of ‘appearance’, which is purely based on reflection of light. But what about when light itself starts bending? Then start illusions, what it is now – a flat galaxy like a disc. If you follow a bending light, you won’t get to know about the bend (principle of relativity). Only when you follow that which bends the light, you would get to know of the bend, the illusion, the distortion. And what’s that that bends the light? Well you can call it Love (as pure) manifesting as attachment (in reality) or in crude scientific terms could be called as Gravitation. Remember the similar conclusion made by early westerners about earth as well, a flat disc 🙂
