We live our whole life waiting to start living. Every one of us wants to be happy and have a peaceful life.
When we were small children being happy was easy because our mind had yet not been become aware of the entire material world around it. Sense of me and mine had not yet developed. Children have the ability of finding bliss out of nothing.
But as we start to understand this world around us, being happy starts to become more and more difficult. Because now our definition of happy shifts from what comes from inside us to that of what society tells us.
Society tells that only rich people are happy. Society sells us a dream, saying when you achieve this then you will be happy. What is this dream and is it really so? Or is it like chasing a imaginary, an optical illusion.
I have seen so many rich people who are miserably unhappy. Why is it so? If poor people are unhappy and rich people are also unhappy then what is best way to live? Is it best to renounce the world, leave everything behind? Or is there a way to live in world and be happy? Money is important to live but how much importance it holds and are there some other ingredients also which are needed to live a happy and fulfilling life. After all isn’t it happiness and a fulfilling life that we are searching.
Please share your thought on this question.
