What is knowing?
Can we actually know?
Is there any basis behind our knowing of anything?
This are the questions that we often not ponder on.
isn’t knowing just an activity of comparing? For example I know that sun is round, But what actually is round?
It’s a shape that we have named which has certain characteristics and by comparing it with sun’s shape,we can come to a conclusion that sun is round.
This kind of pre definition of things we have introduced before has made us to think that we know. Isn’t it a sort of brainwashing. That might be too much to say but if we observe in our society, the most problematic parts are The Knowers. They know what is truth, they know what is good, and want from everyone that they must follow the same. It can be a political system, a society ,or a religion.
One day I scrolled down to comment section on our revered swami ji’s post on an ancient story of Rama ji and found some people who commented there “this is not what really happened”. They might be comparing it with another story which they might have heard before. But there surety made the impression as they really watched it first hand.
Read the following statement
“whatever written in this statement is false”
What is above-mentioned statement, a true or false?
It cannot be either, because if it is, it violates the statement. So if not the either, then what it actually is?
It’s both and at the same time it’s none!
So Can We actually know?
This questions are out of my capacity of Thinking.
I only know one thing that i know nothing.
