I have listened to some Western Classical Music. I have also read about scientists and one of the scientists I admired, Subramanyan Chandrasekhar, used to listen to a lot of Western Classical music, and so my interest in the same also increased. I started searching for music of Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach, this once I even bought a CD of the same.
And when I was in high school, we had to mug up a lot of stuff to score well in the exams. The exams ground us and sometimes when the scores weren’t up to my expectation, I would search for ways to improve my memory. In school sometimes mummy used to give me Ayurvedic brain tonics but other than that I was searching on the internet for some other ways to boost my memory. And so, in my search, I stumbled upon the Mozart effect named on the renowned and famous eighteenth-century musician Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The Mozart effect is a theory stated by scientists which states that listening to some particular piece of music like Mozart’s the Sonata for Two Pianos in D, K. 448 for just around fifteen minutes enhanced memory and boosted IQ scores especially in the spatial reasoning section of the IQ test. And I used to listen to it in the hope it will boost my IQ. It is a wonderful piece of music and I will suggest y’all listen to it. I hope you like it.
