Dear all, Jai Sri Hari…💕

This may be outright spooky, strange or supernatural! But nevertheless, thought of sharing this small incident, from 11th August (Thursday) 2022, when we (Mairaa, Mahima & Myself) were at our friend’s place for ‘Raksha-Bandhan’ dinner. This was Mairaa’s first Raksha-Bandhan celebration in Adelaide, Australia. She is almost 3 years old now (Born Oct 15th 2019) .

Scene:

Our friends’ have a beautiful backyard garden, with a “Buddha-Face” statue, placed above a trickling serene waterfall.

It was cold and raining infrequently that night (in Adelaide), and their beautiful Buddha statue was adorned with soft flashlights from the ground, making the rain drops and water flow incessantly onto the “Buddha-Face” statue.

It seemed as if Mother Nature was doing an “Abhishekam of Water” on this Buddha statue.

Climax:

As the kids were running around playing, Mairaa suddenly stopped and stood across the glass window staring at this beautiful Buddha Statue.

And she suddenly said “Pappa, Om Swami is getting wet”.

Hearing this my heart melted and I went hugging her and said “Beta, this is not Om Swamiji, this is Lord Buddha”.

And, she once again said, “No Pappa, Om Swami is getting wet”.

Conclusion:

I could not resist marveling in awe at the innocence and/or ‘siddhi’ a child possesses.

I hope, trust, and pray that our most beloved Swamiji, our ‘Rain-Maker’ is only getting wet with all the love of His devotees, disciples, and followers.

In service at His divine feet, always!

“Jai Sri Hai, Jai Om Swami, Har Har Mahadev” – A salutation this little cheeky monkey says each night before sleeping. 🙂
