Well what’s in games,
Indoor or outdoor,
Beyond winning and losing?

And in the seriousness of life,
Who bother to give time,
To play and be merry.

And when ambition in mind,
Sports and games,
Only a matter,
Waste of time.

For that matter,
Get on with,
The spirit of game,
And know its joy,
Know the flow.

They enrich us,
They unite us,
Like a child,
Again playing in the mud.

The spirit of sports many,
But above all,
Beyond paying for benefits or health,
What’s it really forth,
Is to realize,
That’s life a play,
Not serious path to hell’s way,
Have joy, enjoy,
Games, sports,
And dance with exuberance,
The creation made to relish,
Live it up to rejoice.

P.S: Thank you and deep gratitude for reading my poems. It’s a newly discovered talent in me, maybe not rhyming and good enough, but I found poetry is the best medium to express our emotions. And that’s the reason I started writing them, it frees up my mind, relaxes me, and the creative expression is deeply fulfilling. I mostly write with my feelings and experience, and not to fill the word limit, so have to include these lines in every poem as they are shorter than one one-fifty words to publish. Accept my gratitude (although I don’t have much).
