I love to read detective stories. World over the life of a detective is generally depicted as glamorous, shrouded in mystery and they are humans who are willing to delve into the unknown most willingly.  They in fact derive thrill from their tinkering of the veiled reality and the unknown in a case. The detective sees through the web  of lies and deceit very easily.

A detective par excellence can always smell a rat, even before the rat has  come out in the open. He is a master of keen observation ,  possesses a deep knowledge of habits, cultures & people and last but not the least has an amazingly accurate deducing power.

He is also willing to learn, looks at all angles and always validates his suspicions with proof.  Detectives are a rare breed willing to go deep into what does not meet the eye in human nature and motives to find the ‘Who dunit”.

Playing detective needs guts, willingness to risk it all and also an openness to all kind of exploration.
