Yesterday i felt like the Donkey who was sometimes used by a father ,a son ,walked alone in his Masti or was sat upon by both son and father and ultimately jumped under a bridge!
Haven’t all of us heard this story and told it to our younger siblings/ kids? But has anyone of us lived it too?
The day i lost my father and wanted to bring my mom to my home ( a house owned by my rules and regulations honest and non greedy in-laws) ,i told my mom don’t listen to the public who says Daughter s Mothers should not live in a daughter s house!
Even if i would have left her alone in their flat , the log( please tell me did they pay my father s hospital bills or stayed with us for night shift when my parents were sick) would have said …see she is so happy in her life that she is unconcerned for an old mom.
I am an only child aswell my mom s siblings have never been to India since ages , also my paternal grand parents were extremely planned couple to not have more than 2 kids my aunt being herself 75 and in Gujarat,i have not seen her since 15 years now.
Then who helps us?
My husband has regular court and judge doesn’t give u chhuti for knee replacement surgery operation of mother in law.
Since I have a brilliant brilliant part time staff ,i still need to be there for arranging house chores and sending my son to school with tiffin bottle and proper time table.
It’s not that we r irreplaceable but the life situations become tough and tight without the presence of regular house manager.
Yesterday my mom was alone in hospital ( gratitude to divine,we could afford a paid attendant for her) and my son was alone at home before i reached hom from hospital at 9 pm.
They wanted me to Bray but with Sadhna app i pray!
