Akshaya Tritiya is the third date of Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaisakha. It is an auspicious day celebrated by Hindus and Jains in India and other countries. Do’s are the following:
Buy Gold – Gold buying is the most common practice on this day. The practice is related to the meaning of Akshaya Tritiya, which means never-ending. So it is a belief that if you buy gold on this day, you become prosperous and wealthy that you can easily afford to buy God on every Akshaya Tritiya. Doing so ensures you good luck and fortune.
Start a New Venture – on Akshaya Tritiya, every minute and second is holy. That is why people don’t have to look for a Muhurta before beginning any auspicious work. Generally, Hindus first call an astrologer to know the auspicious time of the day. But on Akshaya Tritiya, every minute is auspicious. Hence one can start their venture any time of the day, and it is bound it flourish.
Buy vehicles – People can buy themselves gold, and similarly, they can buy vehicles. Buying vehicles shows that you are able to afford the luxury. Hence with the never-ending effect of Akshaya Tritiya, you always stay able to afford such luxuries. So if you want to buy a vehicle, buy it on this day.

Don’ts are the following:
Don’t Perform the Sacred Thread Ceremony – Do not wear any ceremony that involves wearing the sacred thread. This is particularly true in the ceremony where Hindu boys wear the sacred thread.
Don’t Break Your Fast on This Day – Akshaya Tritiya is not the day on which one should break their fast. If you want to break it, do it a few days before this event.
Rituals You Can Perform On Akshaya Tritiya

Always start the day with decluttering and cleaning the house. You can also clean it the day before. Wake up early, take a bath, and wear clean clothes.

Laxmi Puja and Vishnu Puja

You can donate many things on Akshaya Tritiya when it comes to donation. These things can be water with betel nut, which you should give to a Brahmin only.
If you donate someone a bed, it blesses them with lifelong prosperity. Giving clothes to the needy ones also eases your life. Donating sandalwood keeps you away from misfortunes such as accidents.
Coconut, buttermilk, slippers, curd rice are other things you can donate on Akshaya Tritiya.
