This is real, at least in my head. I have been watching too much of Swami Ji’s ‘Walk the Dragon’ and ‘Shark Tank’. The entrepreneurship craze has gotten hold of my head. A little bit of background context; the price of vegetables has skyrocketed beyond our wildest dreams. Crazy world!
The general habit is to buy tin canned tomatoes when the price of fresh tomatoes reaches the roof. Organic is a thing and frozen foodstuffs have close to no preservatives. What if I could have the tomatoes in an ice cream format of 500g and 1000g frozen boxes? Will that work? Ice cream or sorbet, I don’t know. Please help me go on with this idea.
Points to consider:
SWOT Analysis
Strengths:
- Have a sample of the product going on?
- Produce and sell?
- Allow the funds to flow in first?
Weaknesses:
- Tomatoes are acidic in nature
- High water content that would not freeze well
Opportunities:
- Is there a need for this in the market?
- How to keep the freshness of the tomatoes strong?
- I could just sell halved/quartered tomatoes in sachets?
- Conduct a market feasibility study?
Threats:
- Massive investment required
- Never done this before
How do I transit from the cute little dragon to the massive dragon?
Thank you!
