Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward.

C.S. Lewis

Life can be tricky sometimes, and most of the time, we just lay down our weapons and say to ourselves

·         Why me

·         I can’t take it anymore

·         I am done.

·         This always happens to me

·         Meri toh kismat hi Kharab hai.

But it is not like that; it reminds me of a quote from the blockbuster movie Rocky and the lines goes somewhat like this,” Life is not about Hard you can hit. But how much you can get hit and still keep moving forward.”

A tough one, but absolutely true.

Have you ever seen a mother monkey who never let the kid, even if it is dead? In the same way, we Humans have a nature to keep the old memories and experiences attached to us and not let them go. Failures and experiences are the things that should be used to understand the situation. Learn from it and execute it so that the chances of failure reduce in the next attempt.

So when next time life is tough, and things are not going your way tell yourself

·         Why not me

·         It’s ok

·         What I learned from it

·         What next

·         What I didn’t do that I have to face this failure

·         Let’s try one more time

As my old post on the Kab tab, failures can be part of Life, but they can’t always be around, so we need the attitude to work forward and make the best out of Life.
