True Connections

Sitting down today after exiting a few online groups, realised how easy cutting off some connections has been.

Also flashing before me are some instances of the past, where even a small crack in some bonds seemed unbearable and heartbreaking.

Has something changed within me that the severing of ties does not affect my being a bit? Or were these connections entirely of a different kind.

As I am asking myself, I understand that there are two types of connections. One of the mind and one of the heart

The connection of the mind is superficial and wavering. It changes with our opinion of the ‘other’ and it is not permanent.

Mind connections are attachments to the physical and emotional sphere and hence unstable. Sometimes they are so strong (like) that we turn possessive and sometimes so repulsive that we can’t stand them (dislike). Yet both of them one day or the other end in pain.

All worldly bonds are mind connections and hence definitely give a pinch or heap of pain as and when they can.

The other connection is of the heart where there is no particular reason to bond. Effortlessly blended with each other, there is that absolute surrender and trust which erases all boundaries. 

No demands are made or conditions placed, it seamlessly becomes a part of ourselves. The awareness of its presence forever stays as an unchanging soothing experience.

The connection with the Universe or the Guru or the Self is a connection of the heart.
It rather is the only true connection that is ever calming and an endless fountain of comfort.

Each one of us is eternally connected to the Universe and it is only when this awareness dawns that we start moving away from the impermanent worldly bonds.

Only by God’s unparalleled Grace, the  Divine Master reveals His presence to you, and things are never the same. Life is never the same. You are never the same.

The Divine Master guides us into our own Self within and liberates us from the need to seek anything from anyone.

May each one of us become aware of the One connection that flows through all of us and is The source of everything.
