What if Today is your last day, its disappointing. Don’t panic and just see yourself as a third person as a famous meditation technique. Your whole life will start flashing in your mind chronologically, only the important events. You will be recalling mostly the positive and some negative events and now there is nothing much you can do about them now.

Most of the events we use to recall at this stage are happy for example your achievements , your time with ,parents ,family and loved ones . People you met in life, somehow you remember you never thanked them to be there for what they have done and now you don’t have time . I will share my experience when i tried this i started to feel grateful even about my surroundings for example how beautiful the trees are or the sky is or how good people are but there was not sufficient time to be thankful for each and every thing.

However you may recollect some negative events too  but you cannot do much about that now as today is your last day , somehow all you wanted to do is to forgive everyone as you don’t want to take any burden with you after you are gone, and suddenly you realise a sense of awareness and some weight lifted off from your shoulders which you were carrying on for such a long time. Forgiveness is a very powerful tool which must be used quite often and it helps you more than the person you are forgiving.

Now you feel free and relaxed all you are getting is the urge to thank all the people in your life . You realize that there are no good or bad people they are just blessings and lessons. We must be thankful for this life.

 Now come back to reality and realize that you have a long life ahead and today is not your  last day but why to be in that situation again? Its better to just be thankful and forgive along the way and not to carry the load with yourself for years. 🙂
