Yellow is the soft touch of the morning sun on your skin; the gurgling of the gentle river as the sunlight dances off its waves.

It is the happy lilt in children’s voices; the fresh-smelling air of the mountains in your lungs; the taste of a cool lemonade on a hot summer day.

Yellow is kind when gentle but brutal when angry. It is the longed-for sun on a cold winter day, but also the scorching sun of mid May noon.

It is the gentle touch of a mother’s hand on your fevered brow, but also the heat of the fevered brow and the too-strong warmth of a blazing fireplace.

The zest of a lime wedge, the bitterness of a lime peel – yellow is both of these.

But above all,

Yellow is the dispeller of darkness;

Yellow, is light finding its way.
