What will happen

In the time of a breath?

But within a breath is birth

And within a breath is death.

What will happen

In a blink of the eyes?

But within a blink there are lows

And within a blink there are highs.

What will happen

In a beat of a heart?

But within a beat we come

And within the same we depart.

But these things are small

Something for which we will spare

A moment or two

But if they were gone–

Why,

We are, too.

Hello! As you can tell, this poem clearly does not have a hundred and fifty words. I believe it comes in at about ninety-two (yes, I am typing out all of these numbers to get that word count up). So I’ll ask some questions (please consider responding to these in the comments):

  • How are you?
  • Is there any way I can help you?
  • What is your favorite book?
  • What is your favorite movie?
  • Why do we exist?

I hope that’s a hundred and fifty words. If you can, do take the time to respond to this totally random questionnaire. Thank you! Peace! 🙂
